Favorite Places + Spaces || SOUTH Philly

Hey guys!

So this is more or less an ode to my sweet Bev (Janae) for stepping all the way out of her comfort zone, and hopping on the bus from DC to come spend the day with me in Philly. It was a blast. We ate, we "worked", we shopped, passed through P's and Q's 5 year anniversary party with Warren, and finished off the night at the New Southern Fare restaurant, SOUTH. 

I have a board on Pinterest called, Favorite Places and Spaces, and more and more I'm coming across places and spaces in real life worth sharing. To kick things off, I'm highlighting one of the dreamiest spaces I've come across in Philly so far. 

SOUTH offers a warm southern vibe from the time you enter the space. Greenery everywhere. The loveliest split-level dining room. Sounds from the live jazz show floating throughout the space from the next room. Favorite Things by Coltrane playing in the bathroom. (We tried to Facetime you, Kinny!) Pickled vegetable jars glistening about and the most charming kitchen inspired knick knacks in glass displays cases encasing the dining room. It was just so lovely. I could go on and on, but I'll let you guys see for yourselves. SOUTH, thank you for one of the best Philly nights we've had so far. Can't wait to come back!
