30 Affirmations To Focus
30 Affirmations To Focus
A while back, Warren and I were feeling a bit overwhelmed with the renovation. It was the day before preseason started, so I asked him if he wanted to do some affirmations together. Of course he picked the one title I didn’t have in the book (😩😂🙈) -focus.
We all have different things that motivate us at different times, so I made a mental note to do a set of affirmations on focus at some point. Transitional times always seem to require a different level of focus and typically require a lot of adjustments to stay on course.
As I sat at dining room table at the house yesterday, I couldn’t help but feel completely overwhelmed. I go back to philly in less than a week. We’ve had so many curveballs with this project, and cleaning up the disappointments of the unfinished work the contractors left behind has taken so. much. longer. than we could have imagined.
Stress does two things. It will shut you down or motivate you. In my case it’s put a rocket in my back. It’s still hard, really hard, to not get discouraged though, so today’s affirmations are all about focus.
When there’s a clearcut goal, it serves as the redirect for any decision, complication, disappointment, etc.
Let’s begin.
Picture the thing you’re believing for. See it coming to fruition. Close your eyes. Envision that goal and how it will make you feel to achieve it. Lean into that feeling and let it be your motivation. If we can see it we can believe it, and if we believe it to be so, it’s already manifesting.
Breathe in the good. Breathe out the bad. Repeat x 3)
Feel the stress melt away. Trust the vision.
I am at peace.
My current circumstances do not define me, my future, or my ability to achieve my goals.

I know that my Heavenly Father is lighting the way.
I know that He is opening and closing any door according to His purpose for my life.
