At the expense of being super sappy, which I always am haha I want to share a quick story with you guys.
When I was younger, and single, I used to always rub elbows, literally, with women I met who were either happily engaged or married. As you know, I’m all about a good vibe, and I think there’s enough pie for everybody, so that was my way of claiming a love that hadn’t quite made its way to me yet.
Our vision, at its best, supersedes our reality. For me, it’s the thing that provides clarity when there is confusion and hope when there is despair. Love is a beautiful thing. We all know that, but finding love in someone who is safe to give our hearts to is truly a gift from God.
My gut knew Warren was the one before my head did. My heart did this thing 💞 with his before I was ready haha But the key is that I trusted the vision I had for my life. Not the good days or bad days. Not the emotions. Not the lonely nights that turned into years waiting for a partner to do life with, but the vision I had for my future, husband, and family.
I say all that to say to my ladies (and guys!). That special someone is out there. God’s timing is perfect. Embrace your journey. Make THE MOST out of your time being single because doing life with someone is all about compromise (and that s gets old sometimes 😂) Trust the timing of your life. —And NEVER SETTLE.
