3 Affirmation Sets To Dream Big + See It Through
Today’s set of affirmations is inspired by none other than my little sister, Madison Coffey. Not just because it’s her birthday, but simply because she’s such a freaken inspiration that I had to share her story with you guys.
Two years ago Maddy started talking about moving to New York. I’ll be honest, it went in one ear and out the other. —Not because I didn’t think she could do it. I just selfishly love visiting her in LA haha
For years, two really really tough years ( but that’s her story to tell) she pushed through a number of things that could have swallowed up even the strongest of us.
And through it all, she kept her eye on the prize and refined that vision of what she wanted in this next season of her life. There’s no doubt in my mind that it was the clarity of thought coupled with the grace of God that got her to where she is today.
Something that I’ve always loved about Madison is that although it may take her a while to get there, once she has clarity about something, it’s set. It’s anchored.
The ability to do that is invaluable. It allows us to filter the yays from the nays and manifest the very thing we’re believing for.
☺️ Last week she finally announced that that she would be moving to NYC for her dream job at Condé Nast!! 😝 Y’all, I get all choked up just thinking about it.
A story like hers isn’t just a feel good thing, it’s a reminder of where a commitment to our dreams and clarity of thought can get us. Every time she got knocked down she’d get back up and keep going, even when it required a reroute.
